This veggie pilaf is a great way to add colour to your meal and spice up your vegetables. This simple pilaf combines zucchini, squash, green beans and peas






  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow summer squash thinly sliced
  • 1 medium zucchini thinly sliced
  • 1 cup green beans cooked
  • 1 cup green peas cooked
  • 2 cups rice cooked
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet.
  2. Sauté the squash and zucchini for 5- 10 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Add the green beans, peas and rice.
  4. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add the seasonings and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  6. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve hot.

    Is these recipes are not for freestyle are they. I am doing the freestyle plan so will this app work for me 😉
